Chemical Properties: White to light yellow crystals. Sensitive to light and moisture. Soluble in water, unstable above 25℃, its solution slowly decomposes. The maximum absorption wavelength is 310 nm. Commodities include various hydrates (2H_2, 3H_2, 4H_2 and 6H_2).

Purpose: To determine the substrates of alkaline and acid phosphatase.
