Chemical properties: brown crystals, freeze-dried powder or ammonium sulfate suspension. A heme protein with redox enzyme properties. Soluble in water. Enzymatic reaction: donor + hydrogen peroxide donor + 2hydrogen peroxide. The optimum pH is about 7.0. Isoelectric point pI7.2. The maximum absorption wavelength is 275 nm (protein band), 403 nm (soret band) and 500 nm (other bands).

Purpose: Biochemical research, one of the main enzymes used in enzyme labeling. Determination of glucose and galactose in biological liquids.

Storage Conditions: Sealed at 4℃ for dry and dark storage. Suspension should be kept from freezing.
