Chemical properties: crystallization. It has hygroscopicity. It dissolves in water and acetone and decomposes in water. Melting point > 360℃. The maximum absorption wavelength is 499 nm. It's stimulating. Some merchandises adsorb it on filter aid (CEliTE) (10%).

Purpose: Protein fluorescence labeling. Fluorescent antibody technology. Rapid identification of pathogens.
