Chemical properties: dark yellow acicular crystals. Odorless or almost odorless. It's tasteless. Polyene antibiotics produced by Streptomyces nodosus. It has hygroscopicity and is easily destroyed and invalidated under sunlight. Gradual decomposition above 170℃. Soluble in dimethylimine (30-40 mG/ml), slightly soluble in dimethylmethylamine (2-4 mG/ml), extremely slightly soluble in methanol, insoluble in water, absolute ethanol, chloroform and ether.

Purpose: Antifungal agent for cell culture (inhibiting the growth of fungi and yeasts), recommended concentration of 2.5 ug/ml culture medium. The concentration of cytotoxicity was 30 ug/ml.

Storage Conditions: Storage at 4℃ in dark, valid for 2 years.
